I’m so happy you’ve found me and I hope we’ll be able to work together soon. All of my sessions are on Zoom, and if you’re unsure about this, I highly suggest you try one session with me before deciding you don’t want to do online therapy. Almost to the person, clients who were doubtful at first found that the work we did together quickly erased the feeling of being on a screen, and they then chose to schedule more sessions. Of course, if it’s not right for you, I’d be happy to provide you with a referral to an in-person therapist.

When you sign up for your first appointment, you’ll select “Diagnostic Evaluation” as the service, which is just psychology-speak for a first appointment.

For insurance, I am considered an out-of-network provider. This means you can receive something called a “superbill” from me that you can then submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement, if your plan offers this. Please note that though insurance panels and EAPs may list me as a provider — because I was at one time — I am no longer an in-network provider.

My rate is $165 an hour. When you schedule your appointment online, it will ask for a credit card number. That credit card will get charged at midnight after your first — and subsequent — appointments.

I work weekday evenings Monday-Thursday, but starting in November 2024 will change to offering sessions at the following times:

Monday: OFF

Tuesday: 3:00 - 6:00

Wednesday: 6:00 - 9:00

Thursday: 2:00 - 5:00

Friday: 12:00 - 3:00

I don’t work weekends. Unfortunately, I also am not an on-call therapist for mental health emergencies. Please call 911 if you’re feeling you might harm yourself or someone else; don’t wait for me to get back to you as I am only able to check phone messages during business hours.
